The Youth Center brings together youth services to make it easier for young people aged 13-29 and young adults to find the help and support they need for different situations in life.
Walk-in service

The Walk-in service at the Youth Center is available without an appointment from Monday to Friday. Walk-in offers help with issues such as mental health and substance abuse, education and training, employment, leisure, income, housing, support applications and many other issues. Ohjaamo

The One-Stop Guidance Center Ohjaamo is a place for all people under 30 years old where you can get help in matters related to work, education, and everyday life, including housing and welfare. The service is free of charge. You are welcome to the One-Stop Guidance Centers just as you are, in any situation!

In Jyväskylä, the center has several services available in English. Individual counseling is available in English for all the services listed on their website. Tuesday Help is especially available for young migrants on Tuesdays and there is a person there who can help you in English and in Russian.

Youth Counseling (for 13-22-year-olds)
You can seek help for mental health and substance abuse issues at the youth counseling center. Social and healthcare professionals work at the youth counseling center, and they provide individualized support based on your needs, preferences, and life situation. If necessary, a doctor will conduct a diagnostic examination to plan the necessary treatment.
